Working alongside designer Tracey Hayes, we manufactured customised tiles for this artistic commission, which had been awarded as part of a regeneration programme in Sheffield. Tracey’s vision used classic leaf designs, with varying shades of blue and green glaze, to create this gradient colour effect. Tracy used her own artwork and modelled the leaf design, from which we were able to take a production mould; producing approximately 4000 plain and embossed ceramic tiles in 10 different glaze shades to create this design. Howden House is home to the council offices in Sheffield.
